You have listened to the celebrant explain how God wants us to celebrate his birthday. That day, June 12th shall be dedicated to prayers for the Church of God, for its unity. The church shall be one, as the Bible says in 1 Corinthians 12:12. It is also an occasion that calls for persistent giving, especially to the needy. What do we give? Our love, our strength, our possessions, our time and our care. So, that day, be in an attitude of fasting and prayer. Rededicate yourself to the act of giving. God bless you as you celebrate it in this way.
